A top price of $40,000 was achieved at the first Talbalba Hereford on-property bull sale, held Steve and Debbie Reid and family, near Millmerran.
Kidman Poll Herefords, Dubbo, NSW outlaid the top money, bidding over the phone with Simon Cotter, Landmark, Toowoomba.
Overall 50 bulls sold from 55 offered to sell for an average $8480, representing 91 percent clearance.
The Reid family were delighted with their sale result, with bulls selling as far as South Australia.
