The Brisbane Royal Show grand champion Red Angus female GK Red Dina 164 K33 claimed the limelight and was the sale topper at the third Power of Red bull and female sale when she sold for a top price of $13,000 last Saturday.
In all, 32 bulls sold to an average $5109 and topped $8000, while one other stud cow made to $5250 and seven stud heifers sold to a top of $5000 to average $3179.
Semen packages topped at $325 and embryos made to $800 to average $513.
GK Red Dina 164 K33 was offered by Gavin and Kirrily Iseppi, GK Red Angus, Leafmore, Dalby and was bought by Stuart and Diane Greenwood, Greenwood Park Red Angus, Pittsworth.

“She is a beautiful cow and calf package and we are looking for new genetics,” Mrs Greenwood said.
“The GK genetics have a great reputation and she is a proven breeder, so we will now flush her.”
Topping the bull sale draft at $8000 was Boonyouin Legend L21, a son of IBR E12 Hudson from a Boonyouin Mittagong female offered by Maryanne Kearney, Boonyouin Reds, Kingaroy.
Boonyouin Legend was bought by Proston district cattleman, Edwin Cook, Old Proston Station, operating through Chris Norris, Elite Livestock Auctions.
A long, smooth bull, Mittagong entered the sale ring with a weight of 924 kilograms, scrotal circumference of 41 centimetres and an Eye Muscle Area of 131 centimetres squared.
Bulls sold to $7500 on two occasions.
First to go was GK Red Light Lights Out L30 offered by Gavin and Kirrily Iseppi and also bought by Edwin Cook.
A son of GK Red Spin 23U from GK Jutland Dina 26, Red Lights Out weighed 810 kilograms and is the first son to sell by the Iseppi’s out-cross sire Hot Spin, who is by Red Badlands Net Worth.
Making the same money was GK Red 21 Marshall, again offered by Gavin and Kirrily Iseppi, and sold to the Goondoo Red Angus Stud, Tamowrth, New South Wales.
Five bulls in the sale catalogue sold to a top of $7000.
Pioneer of the Red Angus breed, Bill Fanning, Inverell Station, Inverell, New South Wales paid the same money on two occasions.
Mr Fanning selected GK Red 26 Las Vegas L24 and GK 23 Street Legal bought from the GK Iseppi sale draft.
In all, Mr Fanning finished with three bulls to average $6333.
Selling to $6500 was Rosemullion Red Lieutenant offered by the Davies family, Rosemullion Red Angus Stud, Goomburra and bought by Kelynack Red Angus, Southbrook.
Making $5250 was the four-year-old matron IBR F58 Desire J170 offered by Stuart and Diane Greenwood, Greenwood Park Red Angus, Pittsworth. She was bought by John McDonogh, Monaltrie, New South Wales.
A stud heifer Greenwood Park Rose sold for a top of $5000 and was offered by Stuart and Diane Greenwood, Greenwood Park Red Angus, Pittsworth and sold to Red Star Angus, Numulet, New South Wales.
