Once again the prime cattle eased a shade while the better quality feeder steers held firm to a shade dearer at Gracemere on August 18.

A yarding of 2639 head came to hand at Gracemere sale on August 18 consisting of 1683 steers, 220 cows, 745 heifers, 8 cows and calves and 33 bulls.

Once again the prime cattle eased a shade while the better quality feeder steers held firm to a shade dearer than last week.

Weaner cattle and light feeder steers also met with strong demand with the better quality weaner steers selling to a strong market.

Lance Howkins and family sold Droughtmaster heifers to top at 217c/kg, weighing 516kg to return $1121.

Tony Schick and family sold Red Brangus weaner steers to top at 354c weighing 247kg to return $876.

Lyn Graham, Wowan, sold Charbray weaner steers to top at 332c weighing 290kg to return $963 p/ hd

Wotonga Grazing, Nebo, sold Droughtmaster cross ox to average 605kg for 240c returning $1450.

J&L Deguara, Nebo, sold Brangus weaner steer for 356c weighing 233kg returning $830.

Junee Past Co, Dingo, sold a run of No6 and 7 Brahman heifers to average 251c weighing 241kg to return $606p/hd

Hanrahan Family, Gogango, sold Brahman cross cows to top at 201c to average 678kg  making $1365.

Charlevue Cattle Co, Dingo, sold Red Brangus steers for 366c weighing 279kg to return $1022.

Brah–Lim Cattle P/L, sold No5/6 Brahman cross steers topping at 276c weighing 439kg to return $1212.
