The best bulls sold to 267.2c/kg. L & N Just bull, Kilburnie sold to $2190. Henry bullocks a/c GA & JM Rathmell sold for $2084. No heavy feeder steers were yarded this week.
Heavy heifers a/c Robyn Nobbs realised 278.2c. Heavy cows a/c CR & JM Henry sold to 235.2c with most selling 230 – 235c. Medium cows ex Plainby sold to 225.2c. Trade heifers a/c Dowling Farms, Geham sold to 316c to return $1114 while the steer portion sold 323.2c, $1090.
Vealer heifers a/c Daryl Polzin sold for 338.2c, $990. Trade weight feeder steers a/c Selwyn and Diane Welke reached 348.2c, $1079.
Quality stores suited to restockers sold to stronger rates. Santa cross steers ex Wellcamp sold to 413.2c. Charolais cross steers ex Gulugaba sold to 411.2c. Lightweight steers a/c J & S Reushle, Bald Hills sold to 394.2c while the heifer portion topped at 340c. Cows and calves sold to $1620.
