Medium and heavy weight yearling steers to feed generally sold to strong demand, and the medium and heavy weight yearling heifers to feed followed a similar trend. However, grown steers and bullocks to export slaughter lost 6c to 8c. A good yarding of cows lost 9c to 18c with good heavy cows the most affected.
Heavy weight yearling steers to feed made from 310c to 346.2c while light weight yearling heifers made from 284c to 330.2c and averaged 320.3c.
Grown steers 500-600kg made from 270c to 297.2c while grown heifers to feed averaged 219.2c. Heavy cows sold from 220c to 237.2 and averaged 227.6c. The best bull made 294.2c.
