THE “neat as a pin” Roma property Newcamp sold under the hammer for $875,000 at a Ray White Rural auction on Wednesday.
The 403ha (996 acre) property is made up of 256 hectares (633 acres) of freehold country, a 30ha (74 acre) term lease, and a 117ha (289 acre) permit to occupy.
Offered by Gavin and Donna Boardman, the property was bought from a buyer from the Moura district.
Newcamp features a 10 year old lowset five bedroom home, concreted and enclosed shed, and a truck shed suitable to carry loaded semitrailers, and a stable block. There is also a four bedroom cottage, and other sheds, a bore and cattle yards.
The property is fenced into three main paddocks. The vendor has carried 150 steers through to heavy feeder weights.
Rob Wildermuth from Ray White Rural in Roma handled the marketing of Newcamp.
