A PRODUCTIVE and picturesque 2170 square kilometre Central Australian station holdings has come onto the market.
Coniston Station will be auctioned in Alice Springs by Landmark Harcourts on a walk in, walk out basis with 5200 Droughtmaster and Droughtmaster-cross cattle plus plant and equipment on July 29.
Following a good summer Coniston has a a great body of feed. The property has 13 equipped bores and the 14 sets of cattle/traps yards throughout the station makes it an attractive holding for the discerning buyers.
Located 285km north east of Alice Springs and 109km east of the Stuart Highway, Coniston has held by the Lines family for more than 35 years.
Andrew Stephens, Landmark Harcourts, said Coniston was a great station holding in Central Australia that offered scale.
“It been some time since station country has been offered by auction after a run of significant station sales for the region by private treaty,” Mr Stephens said.
