Thousands of people visited Boonah on the weekend for the 118th edition of the annual show.
Visitors enjoyed traditional show displays, agricultural demonstrations and animal exhibitions, as well as more modern attractions such as the rides in sideshow alley and motocross routines.
This year’s theme was ‘showcasing our youth’, with several schools from around south-east Queensland competing in the cattle judging and junior farmers challenge events.
On Friday night the return of trots racing kept crowds enthralled while the Boonah Miss Showgirl winner Jessica Lutter, a talented young singer, kept the crowd entertained throughout the night.
Woodchopping was also a hit with showgoers on Saturday, with a tree climbing race between Queensland representative Campbell Newman and James Geiger the highlight.
