A message from the president

Our theme this year is “It’s Showtime”, celebrating what local agricultural shows are all about – bringing the country to the town.

Not only does the show highlight the farming and agriculture we have in the region through our ring sections, but also in our fruit and vegetable, and Fresh Farmers of Capricornia sections.

Locals also showcase their skills in the finer things such as cooking, needlework, photography, woodwork, pottery and art, with local schools and childcare centres taking part in the education display, which always draws a big crowd.

Something else everyone loves at show time is the Showman’s Guild area with all the rides, stalls and food they have on offer.

The rest of the grounds will be filled to capacity with an extensive variety of merchandise stalls, food vans and the ever popular showbags.

Breanna Cook from Monto will be performing with her horses on Saturday and Sunday.

Our other regular show features all provide great entertainment for the whole family.

We are a great family agricultural show, with low admission charges and all entertainment provided by the society is free.
