TOTAL Lubrifiants, a leading player in the global lubricants market and CLAAS, a major player in the agricultural machinery market, have renewed their partnership.
The two companies have been linked since October 2005 when Total partnered with CLAAS to supply a range of after-sale lubricants. The new contract is for five years.
Since then the collaboration has evolved to include the distribution of ‘First-Fill’ lubricants.
CLAAS, a family business founded in 1913,operates in 35 countries in Europe, North and South America, Africa and the Asia/Pacific.
Claas says it will continue to expand its lubricant business with Total Lubrifiants within 10 new markets in 2017, including Central Asia and Eastern Europe countries.
Through Total Lubrifiant R&D, both partners strive to developed high-end products adapted to future models of agricultural machinery. AGRISHIFT XE is said to be proof of this, being the only oil approved for Xerion transmissions, the most high-end model on the market.
