A total of 482 head were yarded last Monday at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale. A huge crowd of people saw a quality yarding sell to a very strong market for all types.

Steve Ferris, Woodford, sold quality Angus lines of 12-14 month old steers making $1230, 8-10 month old calves making $1000 and heifer calves for $665. Darren Latimer, Monsildale, sold Charolais cross weaners, with steers to $890-$1010 and heifers $880. Kevin and Nancy Stanton, Neurum, sold Charbray calves, with steers making $770 and heifers $635. Jeffrey Shallcross, Kilcoy, sold Charbray weaner heifers for $920.
