The Creed family and members of The Old Station Flying Club will again host the popular Fly In & Heritage Show at The Old Station airfield near Raglan on May 27-28.
This year’s air display will include aerobatic shows from the RAAF Roulettes, ace Aussie pilot Matt Hall, Paul Bennet and the Warbirds Joy Flights team.
An informal meet and greet will be held on Friday evening, with official events for the weekend beginning on Saturday with the vintage tractor pull competition and truck show judging taking place.
A fashion parade will take place from 12pm, with the Grand Parade of Tractors to follow at 2.30pm in readiness for the air display which will begin at 3pm sharp.
After the air display, chainsaw and crosscut sawing competitions will be occurring from 5pm with the George Creed Memorial Trophies being presented for the truck show and tractor pull competitions after.
Fireworks and bonfires are planned for Saturday night, with a licenced bar running, and live entertainment sure to keep the crowd entertained until late.
Events will continue through until Sunday afternoon with Warbird Joy Flights operating and a stunning display of vintage and collectible cars and motorbikes on show for visitors to inspect.
