Applications are now open for the 2018 Nuffield Australia Farming Scholarships.
The Cotton Research and Development Corporation (CRDC) is a proud supporter of the Nuffield Scholarship program, supporting at least one cotton grower annually to undertake the program in partnership with Cotton Australia. Recent cotton industry scholars include growers Tom Quigley, Trangie; Matt McVeigh, Dalby; and Nigel Corish, Goondiwindi.
Considered the leading program for primary producers in Australia, Nuffield awards farmers with a life-changing scholarship to travel overseas and study an agricultural topic of choice.
Scholars are selected annually and must demonstrate that they are committed and passionate about farming, are at the leading edge of technology uptake, and are potential future leaders in the industry.
Applications for the 2018 Nuffield scholarships close on 16 June 2017. For more information, and to apply, visit www.nuffield.com.au/scholarships.
