APPLICATIONS for the National Rural Women’s Coalition 2017 e-Leaders Advocate and Influence Program are now open.
The program has delivered leadership and learning programs to over 220 rural, regional and remote women since 2011 and is delivered through online virtual classroom technology.
Rural women who have advocacy goals for their community, organisation or primary industry operation are encouraged to consider applying for the program.
2016 e-Leaders and Advocate Program participant Paula Langdon from Women In Sugar Burdekin Inc said the program was a great opportunity for rural women.
“In many instances women are left to focus on raising their children with limited emphasis on developing their own skills,” she said.
“Our goal is to provide opportunities for educational forum where anything can be discussed, without judgement.
“The added bonus is creating lifelong friendships along the way.”
Applications for the 2017 e-Leaders Advocate and Influence Program close at 4pm on March 31.
The program is free and available to 20 rural, regional and remote women around Australia.
