THE Maryvale property Kilbilli Farm remains on the market after being put to auction by Ray White Rural in Toowoomba on Tuesday.
The 91 hectares (224 acres) of prime grazing country is nestled in the undulating hills on the outskirts of Maryvale, north east of Warwick. It offers a mix of well-maintained grass country, valuable stands of ironbark and basalt soils previously under cultivation.
Marketing agent Michael Tomlinson, Ray White Rural Toowoomba, said two parties had registered to bid at the auction. The property had been passed in on a vendor bid of $725,000, he said.
Kilbilli Farm has an extended homestead, a quaint one bedroom guest house, a six stall stable complex, an attached tack/feed room, and cattle yards. There is also a 63 tray fodder factory located behind the stables.
Water is in abundance on Kilbilli Farm. There are three bores, two dams, as well as three creek systems, including one which is spring fed.
