The small town in the heart of the Channel Country, Jundah, has been announced as the host town for the 2017 Channel Country Ladies Day.
It’s perfectly located to host the hugely popular weekend begun in 2012 that inspires, empowers and celebrates isolated women, and organisers say the Barcoo Shire Council is ready to welcome around 150 women with open arms for the October 20-22 event.
The event has previously been held at Durham Downs, Noccundra, Eromanga, Betoota, and Windorah, attracting women from outback South Australia and New South Wales as well as a large catchment of western Queensland, to recharge their batteries, take pride in themselves, and take on good skills to benefit their communities.
