A catalogue loaded with impeccable bloodlines has been organised for the annual Rocky All Stars Elite Brahman Female Sale being held at CQLX, Gracemere on Saturday, April 1 from 11am.
A draft of 62 elite Brahman females have been catalogued comprising of 26 greys including eight polls and 36 reds which include 28 polled females.
Elders Rural sale agent Michael Smith said the sale features a list of 11 high profile vendors.
“Some of the leading names in the Brahman business which are consistently in the top end of the averages at the annual Rockhampton Brahman Week Sales will be offering females at the sale,” Mr Smith said.
“The regular group of vendors including Glengarry, Avee, Token, Eureka Creek, Halgenaes, Stockman, Palmvale, Bungaribee, Kariboe Valley and Elmo have supported this sale over a number of years,” he said.
“2017 will be the first year that Emanuel and Josephine Pace’s Blue Water Hills stud is represented with four females.
“The catalogue is full of top shelf genetics and the females on offer are certainly worthy of inspection from Brahman enthusiasts.”
The sale will be conducted on an unreserved basis and all females have been pre-treated to allow immediate presentation at the clearing dip to make the movement to tick free areas as smooth as possible.
