The small Darling Downs town of Jandowae turned out in force at the weekend to support its senior rugby league team in a match against the Dalby Diehards.
It was the first time a senior rugby league match has been played in the town in 54 years.
Before a home crowd of around 400 people, the 20-man Fishhooks outfit, with players ranging in age from 19 years to early 50s, won the match 16 to 10.
The Fishhooks will contest the Lindsay Williams Shield in Wandoan on 11 March. Thanks to Amelia Wood Photography for supplying the photos from the night.
