IN a Queensland first, a Texas Longhorn cattle sale ‘Trails West’ to the Roma Saleyards this Saturday.
Almost 50 head from studs in New South Wales, Tambo and Charters Towers will be on offer from 10am February 25 and will feature the largest number of registered fullblood Texas Longhorns offered at a single venue in Australia.
The ‘Trails West’ Texas Longhorn Sale program will also include the auction of Texas Longhorn products such as a belt buckle and longhorn skull.
The sale is expected to attract the interest of buyers and onlookers from across the country and a special tour of the selling complex will be conducted at 8.30am.
Elite Livestock Auctions is also hosting an online auction.
Vendors at the sale are Cowboy Cattle Company Texas Longhorns,Gunning, NSW, D 7 Spur Texas Longhorns,Tambo, Queensland and Horseshoe B Longhorns, Charters Towers, Queensland.
