Most slaughter classes of cows eased further in price with the largest samples around 10c/kg cheaper while cows returning to the paddock remained unchanged in price.
Steer calves to restockers made to 426c, with mixed sex calves averaging 396c/kg. Lightweight yearling steers returning to the paddock made to 406c, with most around 358c/kg. Medium weight yearling steers to feed averaged close to 340c and made to 364c/kg.
The largest number of heavyweight yearling steers to feed averaged 322c and made to 336c/kg. Lightweight yearling heifers sold to restockers at an average of 329c with sales to 358c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed made to 324c, to average 321c/kg.
The heavy grown steers made to an isolated 305c with most around 286c, while the bullock portion made to 294c to average 288c/kg. Plain condition cows returning to the paddock made to 222c to average 218c/kg.
Medium weight 2 scores to slaughter averaged 217c and made to 222c/kg. A large number of good heavy cows made to an isolated 240c to average 231ckg. Heavy bulls made to 254c/kg.
