The first ever Beyond the Range Gala will be held at Inbound in Toowoomba on Saturday, March 18 to raise vital funds for Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health (SARRAH) and RACQ LifeFlight Rescue.
This black-tie fundraiser will support the ongoing needs of the two organisations and will provide an opportunity to raise awareness and promote the incredible work the event’s beneficiaries are currently doing for rural and remote communities.
The committee is comprised of young allied health professionals working in the Toowoomba district, aspiring to enhance health care in remote Queensland.
A committee spokesperson said they wanted to organise an event that will be a wonderful social night for the community, and will raise valuable funds.
LifeFlight, Australia’s largest aeromedical rescue charity, just celebrated 35 years of providing rescue services across Australia. Toowoomba is LifeFlight’s busiest base in Queensland and the only helicopter rescue service for the majority of the south-west. SARRAH is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates on behalf of Australian rural and remote communities to establish equal and sustainable access to Allied Health services.
SARRAH is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates on behalf of Australian rural and remote communities to establish equal and sustainable access to Allied Health services. It also provides Allied Health Professionals working in these communities support and opportunities to inform and influence the policy and planning processes that govern service delivery to these areas.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue and SARRAH’s ultimate goal is to enhance health and well-being in rural and remote communities.
There will be live entertainment on the night by DJ Johnny Mac and Toowoomba’s own Craig Phillips along with raffle prizes and an auction with all proceeds donated to our two wonderful charities. The night will kick-on at The Irish Club, who has kindly sponsored this event. Thanks also to Create Financial Solutions for their sponsorship.
