The Toowoomba Stock and Rural Crime Squad (SARCIS) is appealing for public information regarding four cattle that appear to have been stolen from the Riverton area, south of Texas.
Four Droughtmaster cross heifers were reported stolen last month from a grazing and farming block on the Queensland side of the border near Riverton and Bonshaw, New South Wales.
The heifers are all branded with a Queensland brand depicting the letters CG over some wings. The brand is on the near-side rump.
The heifers weigh between 320 and 470 kilograms and were last accounted for at the end of October last year.
Anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area during that time, or may have information directly linked to the heifers, is urged to come forward.
Information can be provided to local police, Crime Stoppers or directly to the Toowoomba SARCIS on (07) 4614 2114.
