IT was a dream debut for Shari Knudsen at the Dalby Australian Stock Horse sale after selling her outstanding mare Haymac Georgie Girl for the $46,000 second highest money.
Shari and husband Peter run Haymac Campdraft Horses at Coondarra, Chinchilla and sold horses at Australia’s premier ridden Stock Horse sale for the first time on Sunday.
A nationwide buyers’ panel underpinned demand at the 42nd annual Dalby Australian Stock Horse sale after 191 horses sold for $1.6m at the Dalby Showground on the weekend.
The breakdown of the sale revealed 93 mares sold for a $10,473 average, 94 geldings averaged $6617 and five stallions/colts averaged $9625.
