President of the Dalby Australian Stock Horse sale committee, Jim Ryan, has expressed disappointment with an overnight theft at the Dalby Showgrounds on Monday evening.

Mr Ryan said it was all hands on deck to prepare the Dalby Showgrounds for the 42nd annual Dalby Australian Stock Horse campdraft and sale this weekend.

“We have lost 400 litres of diesel, four truck tyres, and a number of three-phase extension cords to be used by campers to connect to powered sites,” Jim said.

“However the sale will go on, and it is a minor hiccup, but disappointing all the same.

“The weekend is shaping up to be a showcase event for Australian Stock Horse vendors and buyers and we won’t let this deter us.”

If anyone has information please contact the Dalby Police, or contact Jim Ryan on mobile 0407 350 884.
