In the largest sale for some time Elders Wycheproof has listed 16,000 store sheep for its November sale.
As usual the sale will start on a ripping pen of First-cross ewes with lambs at foot along annual drafts with more First-cross ewe lambs, not station mated.
The sale will also feature two flock dispersals including 6000 sheep from Bill and Faye Roger, Burkes Flat, east of St Arnaud whose Charinga/Banavie-blood ewe flock will offer classed breeders in age groups from 1.5 to five years, and 1100 one year-off wethers.
There will also be some large lines of Merino wethers with T & G Simpson to yard lines of 2 & 3 year old wethers for anyone looking to take advantage of current wool prices with sheep in prime of their lives.
