Catherine George and the staff at Georges Workwear & Country Outfitters are gearing up for the Christmas gift buying period and will be offering some great deals to save your wallet.
The store located at 88 William Street in Rockhampton is chock full of great gift ideas and their will certainly be a special something well suited for your friends and loved ones.
Catherine said Georges is the best place in Central Queensland to do your Christmas shopping and is the biggest stockist of R.M. Williams products in the region.
“If you come into the store from Monday, November 21 we’ll have sale prices on many of the iconic brands we stock,” Catherine said.
“A minimum of 10 per cent off will apply to all men’s, women’s and kid’s fashions, and we’ll also have great deals on Ariat, Heritage and Roper boots, R.M.Williams men’s polos and belts, Roper horseshoes and Drizabone men’s polos, just to name a few,” she said.
“We’ll also have a couple of racks of selected items with even larger markdowns from 30pc upwards.
“We know if you can save a little bit off your Christmas shopping it all helps.”
Catherine said the sale will continue until stock runs out, and if you can’t find what you want in the main store she said to check out the clearance outlet next door; all to be explored with the convenience of hassle free parking right outside the shop.
“You’ll always find a bargain there, everything is reduced by at least 30pc and sometimes more.”
A Rockhampton institution; Georges was established in 1899 by Catherine’s grandfather.
“The initial shop was a block away, and in 1948 my father moved to the current site.
“We have lots of fourth and fifth generation customers and we do mail orders all over Queensland.
“We get many orders placed over the phone from people living in remote areas of the state, which we love as it gives us a great opportunity to have a chat with them and see how their families are going.”
