Buyers, vendors and visitors to Dalby will have plenty to do with a stellar line-up of entertainment, campdrafting action and 250 quality Australian Stock Horses set to go under the hammer.
The 42nd Annual Dalby Stock Horse Sale will be held at the Dalby Showgrounds from December 2-4.
In the lead-up to the weekend the township will come alive with the saddle up for Santa Christmas parade and businesses taking part in a window dressing and shop front competition.
The sale weekend kicks off on Friday with the campdraft and challenge program.
On Saturday, sale inspections start at 7am and the parade and working horse demonstrations from 7.30am. Ladies are again invited to a morning tea hosted Hitchley and Harrow with a fashion parade compered by the Crack Up Sisters.
After the twilight sale the show, David Manchon’s Rooftop Express, featuring stock horses, returns and it’s a new show and it’s is open to all visitors free of charge.
A fully licensed bar will run throughout the event ant there will be live entertainment – DJ Curley McKnight’s Nightclub in the Scrub on Friday and Mik Oberle will keep the party going on Saturday.
