THE Beef Country Brahman sale in Nebo today topped at $21,500, with a gross of $446,000 and an average of $6968, for a 95 per cent clearance.
Top priced bull of the day was the Kirk family’s Hazelton Neapoll, selling for $21,500 to Peter Mackenzie, Redbank, Dingo.
Neapoll impressed in the books with a weight of 802kg at 32 months of age, an EMA of 138sq cm and a scrotal circumference of 38cm.
The volume buyer of the sale were JR and LR Singleton, Turon Downs, Middlemount, who went home with six bulls averaging $4583.
Close behind was David Roberts, Swan’s Lagoon, Millaroo, with five bulls averaging $7700, and Peakvale Grazing, Clermont, with five bulls averaging $3000.
