Emergency services were working to free cattle trapped in a truck that rolled on the Warrego Highway.

EMERGENCY services were working to free cattle trapped in a truck that rolled on the Warrego Highway at Gatton.

Paramedics were called just after 5pm to the rollover on Thursday afternoon near the BP petrol station.

The driver of the truck was freed from his cabin and was transported in a stable condition to Toowoomba Base Hospital with a leg injury.

Paramedics were standing by as crews worked to free cattle trapped in the truck.

It has been reported there were about 50 cattle on board at the time of the rollover.

The crash caused delays eastbound.
