THE sale of the 33,635 hectare (83,111 acre) Aramac property Politic has been finalised following a rain delayed delivery muster with buyer, the Pegler family from Quilpie. Offered by Peter Naylor, Pink Hills Pastoral, Winton, the property has about 17,000ha of open downs Mitchell grass country in fresh condition, 8000ha of pulled gidgee sown to buffel and supported by soft native grasses, and 9000ha of forest country sown to buffel and stylos. Aramac was sold on a walk in, walk out basis including plant and machinery and 2000 quality Red Brahman/Droughtmaster-cross cattle in excellent condition. Marketing agent Virgil Kenny, Elders, said the inclusion of the cattle in the offering has significantly increased buyer interest.
GREG Wagner’s Kingsthorpe property Passi Park sold under the hammer for $1.06 million to a Sydney investor at an Elders auction on Saturday. Located 15 minutes west of Toowoomba, the 65ha (160 acre) property is described as excellent horse or cattle country, running from rich dark soil creek flats, rising to mountain coolibah grazing country. There is about 10ha of cultivation and a 51 megalitre irrigation and commercial licence. Improvements include the original three bedroom cottage. THE blue chip Wellcamp property Eulawra has sold. Offered by Garry and Denise Gamble, the well watered 346ha (855 acre) property in 15 lots adjoins the Wellcamp Airport and Industrial Estate and FKG Group sites. The sale of Eulawra was handled by Trevor Leishman and Errol Luck from Elders.
