THE sale of Donella is being presented as an opportunity to purchase quality country on the doorstep of Goondiwindi.
To be auctioned by Elders in Goondiwindi on October 21, the versatile 911 hectare (2250 acre) farming, cattle breeding and finishing property is in two freehold titles.
Donella is located 25km north east of Goondiwindi, offering lifestyle advantages close to all facilities of a major regional certre.
The country is described as freshly developed scrub soils with mostly brigalow and belah influence.
There are currently 223ha of oats and 100ha of barley. The 2017 summer program has 100ha of established summer forage and a further 120ha ready to be planted. This will offer a good feed availability for the new owners. The summer cropping country has had 100kg/ha of urea applied. There is also a further 110ha of long fallow ready for next winter.
Improvements include sheds, silos, an older cottage, good fences and as new 500 head steel cattle yards.
A share bore is located on the boundary and a solar pump supplies an elevated tank. This secure water is piped to each paddock. There are also permanent holes on Murri Murri Creek.
Donella will initially offered as a whole. If not sold, it will be offered as individual parcels.
