It’s been a wet winter for most and with harvest looming there have been some impressive photos of crops towering over kids doing the rounds on social media.
Queensland Country Life wants you to share your best shots of the kids checking out the winter crops to the QCL Facebook page or post your pics to Instagram or Twitter using the #kidsincrops hashtag.
The best shots will run in our online galleries and in print, plus there’ll be handy first place prize for the photo judged to be best.
Helping to kick off the competition are these shots from Roma’s Jodie Marlow of her son Tommy in an oats crop on Coolibah, 12km south of Roma.
Coolibah is owned by Jodie’s parents, Daryl and Judy Harland, who are hoping to bale the healthy crop – if they can find a dry spell.
So get busy with your cameras. We want to celebrate the good season and with just a few days of school holidays left to go, would love to share your photos.
