The McCormack family postponed their Clonara Droughtmaster sale due to be held last Wednesday because of widespread rainfall.
The new bull sale date is September, 28 at 1pm.
According to Jen Mccormack, they have measured 175mm of rain at Dilga, in the past month.
“It really is record rain for September,” Mrs McCormack said
“The creeks are up, the roads cut, the cattle yards are saturated, and the bulls are bogging.
“This is our 28th annual on-property sale, and we have only had to postpone once before in 1998.”
Mrs McCormack said the good news now is they are having a couple of sunny days and are starting to dry out ready for the sale next week.
*Clonara Droughtmasters will offer 60 bulls on property at Dilga, Glenmorgan on Wednesday, September, 28 2016 at 1pm.
