Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Barnaby Joyce has announced Richard Haire as the new chairman for CRDC.
Mr Haire is a well-known and respected member of the Australian cotton industry, having held many leadership positions within the sector. Most recently, he was managing director and regional head of Olam International, and before that was CEO of Queensland Cotton. He is a member of the Rabo Australia Food and Agribusiness Advisory Board, and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management.
