The annual Betoota races will go ahead this weekend, despite wonderful raining falling over the Channel Country and much of southern and central Queensland.
Betoota Race Club secretary, Bev Morton, Roseberth Station, Birdsville, said the Betoota racecourse received about 28mm. She said it the track was deemed too wet, racing could be held on Sunday.
