A small turnout in the Braford ring on Thursday morning last week saw Pigeon Waters Brahman Stud principal Jacob Segeren (pictured) take home the award for both grand champion bull and grand champion female with Pigeon Waters Percy and Pigeon Waters Ruby respectively. Based on two properties on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, the stud has been breeding Braford cattle for the past six years with judge Col Brett, Waterloo Station, adding he was impressed by the quality of Jacob’s exhibits.
