Earlier today a 26-year-old male was airlifted from a rural property near Injune after he was crushed between a reversing semi trailer and a cattle loading ramp .
The male was guiding the driver at the time and sustained suspected pelvic injuries, bystanders were able to stop the driver before further injuries were sustained.
LifeFlight's Roma-based Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service (SGAS) was tasked to fly to the rural property at 9:53am, and arrived at 10:15am.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics were attending to the patient when the rescue helicopter service arrived, and worked in assistance with LifeFlight's Critical Care doctor.
The patient was loaded onto the rescue helicopter and flown to Roma Hospital in a stable condition to receive further medical treatment.
