THE Queensland Outback Barbarians are aiming to make it an eight game whitewash of its hugely successful 2016 Canada/US tour.
The Barbas are undefeated in the seven games played to date and take on the Eugene Stags in the final hit out in Eugene, Oregon, on Saturday.
The tourists went through their last training run this afternoon. Coach David Conyers announced a number of positional changes to the run on team, reflecting the depth of the Barbas squad.
"We don't know a lot about the home side but we'll treat them with the same respect we give all our host sides," Conyers said.
The starting team is: 1. Aaron Longbottom. 2. Rob McKeown (c). 3. Daren Breen. 4. Brendan McKeown. 5. Andrew Kliese. 6. Khy Bregman. 7. Rylie Brown. 8. Luke Bertram. 9. Shaun Arnold-Brown. 10. Jim Connors. 11. Martin Van Staden. 12. Adam Conway. 13. Jesse Meinicke. 14. Jamie Deshon. 15. Luke Anning.
The Barbas have to date proven an unstoppable force piling on 501 points while only conceding 43 points.
All eyes will be on prop Cameron Knights (St George) who is the only player still not to have scored a try on tour.
The Outback Barbarians next head to San Francisco for some well earned R&R. The break will include the tour's kangaroo court where the efforts of individual players will be recognised.
