There was a yarding of 5086 at Dalby sale this week, with the supply of stock almost doubled and the overall quality fair to good. Medium heavy weight yearling steers to feed lifted a further 4c to 8c and medium weight yearling heifers gained 11c/kg, while heavy weight yearling heifers were noticeably dearer.  The larger number of export slaughter lines of heavy grown steers, bullocks and cows generally maintained the improved prices of the previous sale.
