THE McCord family’s favoured North Burnett property Deepbank will be auctioned by CBRE on July 20.
Located 16km west of Mundubbera, the 4188 hectare (10,349 acre) property is recognised as being both breeding and finishing country.
The McCord Family is synonymous with Mundubbera, with now six generations of connection to the region. From being property managers near what is now Deepbank Station in the early 1860s to owning Deepbank itself in 1955 through to current day, family history runs strong in the region.
Deepbank has a strong pasture base, including buffel, creeping blue, green panic, urochloa and Rhodes grass. It is watered by bores, dams and watercourses, including three creek systems.
Also notable is the areas timbered with narrow leaf ironbark and spotted gum ideal for harvest as an additional source of income.
The freehold country to be auctioned in Mundubbera on July 20 represents Lots 1 and 2 of Deepbank Station.
