A 25-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after his truck towing multiple trailers rolled over at Yuleba west of Roma this morning.
At around 9.30am the truck driver’s road train filled with gravel lost control and rolled over, crushing the driver’s cabin and pinning him inside.
A passing mining vehicle saw the accident near Crossroads Road, about 29km north-north east of Yuleba, and raised the alarm.
CareFlight’s Roma-based Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service (SGAS) helicopter was tasked the accident scene, and treated the man for multiple internal injuries.
The patient was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
