The Balonne Branch ASHS held a very successful two day campdraft, show and challenge on the weekend of April 9 and 10.
Cattle were kindly loaned by John and Gwen Lyons and Scott and Karen McKechnie. Lockyer Valley competitor Carly Domrow made her long trip west worthwhile by taking out the senior challenge on her four year old gelding Meluca Stud Dazzle.
Local branch member Andrew Turvey put together two sizzling rounds to win the Open campdraft riding Cats n Roses.
The event was well supported with many entries in led, hack and working classes. The children’s gymkhana fielded almost 50 competitors. Thanks to sponsors and helpers who made the weekend an outstanding success. – Pictures: Sandra Southern
