THE ‘new look’ Toowoomba Supreme Sale has received a fantastic response from vendors with 315 horses set to go under the hammer on April 30 and May 1.
Sale incentives this year total to $45,000 in cash and prizes featuring the $20,000 two-year-old Landmark Challenge (open to 2015 sold yearlings) with the 2017 sale incentives increasing to $65,000 in cash and prizes.
Landmark have a strong equine sale incentive history and pride themselves in conducting industry leading performance horse sales throughout Australia.
This has seen an unprecedented growth within the performance horse market and the quality of horses on offer.
Some of the performance horse sires represented in this year’s sale include, Hazelwood Conman, One Moore Playboy, Soda Justice, Seligman Spin, Binnia Impressive Destiny, Conductor and Edenvale Double Identity.
The sale will also display a host of imported sires from the USA such as Acres Destiny, One Time Player, Times Up, RS Chisum and Peptos Stylish Oak.
This year, there is also a new outdoor camp draft program with $10,000 Spann’s Trucks Scania feature novice, $6000 Leicht’s CIA open.
The $5000 Sylvia Vale Stock horses and Seifert Belmonts five years and under challenge is open to any horse/rider ensuring this event will become a mainstay in the performance horse calendar.
The sale break-up consists of 123 yearlings on the first day which, if sold, at the sale and remain in the purchases name, become eligible for the 2017 $20,000 Landmark two-year-old challenge.
The first day will also see 43 broodmares up for sale which are either pregnancy tested in foal or with foals at foot.
May 1 will see 148 quality ridden horses offered from two years and upwards, giving the public access to well started youngsters through to campaigned campdrafters and performance horses that would suit a range of disciplines.
Landmark Equine is keenly anticipating the upcoming sale commencing on April 30 and look forward to seeing a strong field in the campdraft and challenge commencing on April 28.
