Blackall throws a Mexican party to welcome in 2016

Sombreros and ponchos were all the rage at Blackall on New Year's Eve, when around 150 people dressed up to welcome in the new year with a Mexican theme.

There were plenty of pretty senoritas and bad bandits at Blackall on New Year’s Eve, when the Barcoo Pastoral Society threw a party to usher in 2016. Around 150 people joined in the fun, farewelling one of the driest years on record with fun and frolics.
