TWO significant farms in North Queensland's Burdekin region put to auction yesterday have sold.
The appropriately named The Cane Farm at Burdekin was initially passed in at auction but sold within an hour for the reserve price of $7 million to the Galea Family. The Galea Family has farming interests at Ayr, Emerald and Mackay.
