THE Australian Agricultural Co's Brighton Downs, Winton, was passed in for $10.25 million at an Elders auction in Brisbane this morning (May 22).
Bidding opened with an auctioneer's of $10m. The property was subsequently passed in for $10.25m to Peter Britton, Winton, whose country includes Bladensburg and Fairview.
The property was previously passed in to Mr Britton at an auction in December 2010 for $12.75m. The property was then offered with 8000 cattle.
The 420,000ha (1.04 million acre) cattle station on the Diamantina River was today offered with about 4500 Brahman-cross steers and station plant.
