A TOTAL of 38 bulls sold for a 100 per cent clearance at the fifth annual Hopgood Charolais bull sale at Clermont in Central Queensland last week.
Held on Friday, July 26, the sale averaged $3200.
The sale topped twice at $6500 with both bulls purchased by repeat buyer, Shane Benney, Merrigang, Clermont.
Local Clermont buyers, Jason and Julie Jones took home five bulls for an average price of $2800.
Four bulls sold for $4000 in a sale that saw a slightly reduced average compared to 2012 but a stronger clearance.
