IT’S been a busy 12 months for the ladies of 9 Ante Portas but they were able to celebrate their achievements and admire one another’s artwork on Saturday night.
Their annual exhibition, now in its fifth year, was held at Vieille Branche, Newstead, and attracted a crowd of roughly 250 people.
There was plenty of fine art to admire followed by an auction to raise money for Kim Walters Choices Breast Cancer Support.
A highlight of the auction was the donation of Australian painter Margaret Olley’s jacket, which was bought for $700 by Neil and Ros Thompson, Sunshine Coast.
Queensland Country Life’s Melody Labinsky and Sally Cripps enjoyed catching up with friends at the event.
