A woman is recovering in Toowoomba Hospital following a quadbike rollover on a property near between Miles and Roma in south west Queensland.
The woman, who is said to be in her 30s, was mustering cattle on a property in the region when the bike landed on top of her.
The Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service helicopter were tasked to the property before noon today.
She had been stabilised by Miles Queensland Ambulance Service who were at the scene when the rescue chopper arrived.
A spokesperson for Careflight said the patient was in a stable condition when flown to Hospital, but possibly sustained internal injuries from the accident.
The incident comes as new safety laws for quad bikes loom.
Under the new laws to be brought in by the federal government, it is expected rollover protection devices will be compulsory and users will be required to wear helmets and undertake training.
