GLITZ and glamour was the order of the evening as the red carpet rolled out in St George for the annual Cotton Growers' Awards.
The Hollywood-themed event was attended by about 100 people, including sponsors, industry representatives and of course growers.
St George Cotton Growers Events committee chair Rebecca Lindert said the evening sought to recognise the efforts of producers over the 2013/2014 season "and really just a chance for everyone to get together and let their hair down."
Awards were presented in seven categories.
This was the fifth year-in-a-row Cleave and Johnelle Rogan of RowAg Farming claimed the Farm Hygiene Award.
Another highlight was Ian Todd's return to win Grower of the Year for the second year for his cotton grown at Wagaby, St George.
Mr Todd's employee, Phil Rigg, also picked up the Employee of the Year award.

Committee chair Ms Lindert is also the product development officer for Australian Super Cotton, the family business started by her father Glenn Rogan, Benelong, St George.
She said when the committee began planning this year's event, growers were looking down the barrel of another tough season due to weather conditions.
"It definitely started off that way," Ms Lindert said.
"There's been a bit of change though. While we haven't gotten the rain here, the river has run and filled some storage dams so it's definitely looking a lot more optimistic."
